Project Description
The removal of a 3m high existing stone retaining wall adjacent to the A660, works included sheet piling to enable the installation of a mass fill concrete retaining wall providing a permanent support for the cladding of the wall utilising the original Yorkstone wall materials. Works also included the provision of a contra-flow during the full duration of the works to enable the works to be carried out safely in the main link road between Leeds and Leeds/Bradford airport.
