Project Description
New foundations were required to allow the lock gates to be stored on when not in use. The project consisted of excavation and laying subbase to received concrete foundations which was 2 individual reinforced concrete slabs both with 2 no 600mm wide support walls on each. 12 x 12 timbers where fitted to the tops of the walls to allow the dock gates to be placed on top.
