JemBuild management team have over 200 years collective experience in the construction industry. We have worked closely together for many years and appreciate that strong relationships and successful projects, are founded on trust, by working closely with clients, to ensure these relationships are forged and then taken from project to project.

With over 35 years experience in the Building and Civil Engineering profession and with an extremely broad and varied knowledge of all aspects of the construction industry, including major road and bridge construction, rail, marine works, bulk storage facilities, commercial build and refurbishment works, Paul established JemBuild in 2010 after a successful career with a number of national and local contractors culminating in a senior management position having experience on contracts from £100k – £100M.
Paul's ethos has always been to foster close and trusted relationships with a select portfolio of clients by delivering projects on time and budget, while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
He has a proven track record of achieving exactly this, and prides himself on working very closely with all clients from concept to completion to ensure that they are supplied with a quality service, real innovation with alternative solutions to ultimately offer a cost efficient quality end product.
The company is growing steadily, with a select client base, a formidable management team and an experienced workforce which include an approved bank of sub-contractors who we have worked closely with over many years.
We are looking forward to building on our current success, to grow the company over the next few years to become the leading force in our geographical area.

Mark has over 20 years of site experience in all types of civil and building projects ranging from university/college projects, healthcare, large scale warehousing, Ministry of Defence and major refurbishment schemes.
He joined the construction industry after leaving school and quickly adapted to a Site Engineering role, advancing rapidly within his employer's organisation. Mark continued his studies alongside his employment to gain professional qualifications and progressed through to a Senior Engineer, Sub-Agent, Site Agent, Project Manager then Contracts Manager.
Mark joined JemBuild early 2012 after working for a major contractor. His experience, commitment and knowledge are key and he has a vital role within the company. This is clearly demonstrated throughout his work with his proactive management and strict attention to quality and detail which has resulted in several of his contracts receiving industry recognised awards for both quality and workmanship.

‘With over 20 year's experience of working in administrative and banking roles Hannah joined the JemBuild team in 2013 carrying out the role of Contracts/Company Administrator.
Her role has now developed into that of Company Secretary with her effortless management of HR, Health & Safety, Suppliers and Accounts.
Hannah's role is crucial to the daily operation of the company and her contribution has been key to the company's growth and success.

Kevin joined JemBuild in 2020 as a Senior Estimator after seven years with a large regional competitor and during his career he gained his professional qualifications along with progressing through various roles from Assistant Estimator, Estimator to Senior Estimator initially specialising in Civil Engineering tendering.
Joining the construction industry at 19 he brings over 20 years' valuable experience into the company.
He has naturally established himself within the company and his key role will provide an important contribution to the company's success going forward.

Business Development Manager
Elizabeth (Lizzie) joined JemBuild in 2020 as Business Development Manager.
Lizzie brings valuable experience into this new role within the company.
Following successful completion of her A Levels she joined a high street bank for 6 years progressing to a personal bank manager role then joining HMRC for 12 years carrying out several different roles whilst completing further training in Customer Service, Business Administration and Computerised Accounting for Business.
Her training and experience with Banking Transforming Operating Procedures (TOP) and Pacesetter at HMRC are key to her role to improve our core business operations.
Lizzie's ability to adapt to any role are already proven in her short time at JemBuild with our attainment of ISO 14001 and ISO45001 which she was responsible for.
SARAH SPRIGGS

Sarah joined JemBuild Ltd early 2014.
Sarah has over 25 years' experience in Construction – initially starting as a Site Engineer where she also developed initial quantity surveying and estimating skills, and then progressing to Site management working for generally long periods with well-established quality local contractors managing a variety of Civils, Highways, Industrial, Commercial, new build and refurbishment projects. The last 2.5 years with a large National Contractor on working as part of the management team on heavy civils, tunneling and marine projects for the water industry with a value up to £40m.
Throughout her career she has continued to develop skills in programming, estimating, commercial management and quantity surveying to give all round experience to a project from tender stage to handover.
Sarah's invaluable experience and communication skills will ensure she will continue to deliver excellent quality projects within in a safe and enjoyable working environment, maintain and develop excellent relationships with both existing and new clients and strengthen the JemBuild reputation.
ANDY STAINTON

Andy has over 35 years experience in the Construction Industry, having begun as an apprentice joiner in a large regional organisation upon leaving school.
Progressing through to Workshop Manager advancing to Site Manager, Assistant Projects Manager then Contracts Manager working on a range of industrial, retail and commercial construction contracts with values up to £90m.
His experience continued working for local and national firms as a Site Agent and sub-contractor on residential builds, barn renovations, and a broad range of site based works, gaining a wealth of knowledge in construction in both residential and complex commercial projects, including listed building renovations, educational, local authority and housing association contracts, NHS and military base works.
As a Project Manager Andy's invaluable experience coupled with his excellent management and communication skills will only ensure the continued delivery of JemBuild projects to high quality and safety standards whilst maintaining strong relationships with our portfolio of clients.
ANDREW WHOMERSLEY

Having begun his career as an Assistant Site Engineer with Clugston Construction he went on to spend more than 30 years with Clugston until their sad demise.
Progressing through to Engineer, Senior Engineer, Site Manager, Design Manager and Project Manager he worked on a range of industrial and commercial construction projects with values up to £80m, including projects for BP, Vivergo at BP Saltend, Lindsey Oil Refinery, Yorkshire Water, and major Energy from Waste projects at Stallingborough, Sheffield and Oxfordshire.
After leaving Clugston Andy worked with Glasshouse specialist contractor, CambridgeHOC as a Senior Project Manager on the delivery of three 3000m2 Glasshouses for the Horticultural Industry prior, to joining JemBuild.
Throughout his career he has continued to develop his skills in programming, design management, estimating and commercial management experience working on all projects from tender through to final handover.
ALFIE WALLIS

Assistant Site Manager
Alfie joined JemBuild early 2022 as an Assistant Site Manager after gaining over 5 years' experience with a commercial contractor working on commercial, residential, refurbishment, and heritage projects with values of £100k to £5m.
Following completion of his A Levels Alfie joined the construction industry as a Trainee Site Manager opting for a part time study programme to gain his construction specific higher level qualifications.
Following attaining his HNC in Construction and the Built Environment he subsequently gained his SMSTS, First Aid, Pasma and since joining JemBuild he has continued his professional development by undertaking Advanced Site Surveying and Setting Out from the CITB National Construction College.
Also, he has recently completed his NVQ Level 6 in Site Management: Building and Civil Engineering and has been Assistant Site Manager on several projects.
Alfie contribution to the company in his short time is recognised and he has developed into a highly conscientious, trusted and loyal individual and has become a key member of our management team.
